Uncontacted people are groups who voluntarily isolate themselves from the world community. They can communicate with signs or a specific language known and understood by them. They live different lives, starting with food, shelter, and survival methods. Here goes some of the uncontacted people and their lifestyles.

1. The Sentinelese.

The Sentinelese

Sentinelese are the most dangerous and isolated tribes in the world, living on Andaman islands in the Indian ocean. In 2006, two Indian fishermen were killed by them. In 2018 an American, John Allen Chau, was also killed by the Sentinelese. They hunt in the forest and also fish in coastal water for food. They use bows and arrows for hunting. The women wear fiber strings around the head and waist, and the men wear thick waist belts.

2. The Toromona.

Toromona

Toromona is a group of uncontacted tribes living in northwestern Bolivia. They are aggressive killers. There isn’t enough information about them. In 1997 Norwegian biologist Lars Hafskjold who researched this particular tribe disappeared somewhere near Madidi park, Bolivia.

3. The Nubak.

The Nubak

The Nubak people live between the Guaviare and Inírida rivers, on the border of the Amazon basin. They are wanderers that they won’t stay in a place and keep moving. Because of this, they have few portable possessions, and their houses are very light, made of wood and palm leaves. Their primary food is Honey, fruits & vegetables, Insects, and fish. They use blowguns tipped with a poison called curare.

4. The Awa.

The Awa tribe lives in the Amazon rainforest Brazil. They have long scruffy hair and broad grins. They practice polygamy. That is, a woman will be married to several men, and when she gives birth, all the men who married her will be the father of her child. They hunt tapirs and monkeys for their food. They also eat acai berries and barbacu nuts. They build their house from lianas and tree saplings. It is estimated that their population is around 450.

5. The Comanches.

The Comanches

The Comanches were great warriors who fought vigorously to defend their homeland of comancheria. They are from the Great plains Native American cultural group. They hunt buffalo for their food, shelter, and clothing. They wore dresses made of soft-tanned skins of deer and buffalo. The weapons used by the Comanche were jaw bone clubs, bows, and arrows. They lived in buffalo hide teepees. They are well known for their skill of fighting while on horseback.
